‘Thamaraibarani’ revamping devotional music

Well there is another reason to remember Tirunelveli. Yuvan shankar Raja’s film ‘Tamaraibarani’ is attempting to update devotional music. The soundtrack of the film includes a remix of the classic devotional piece ‘Karpoora nayagiye’ remixed as a dance number.

The song is still in the voice of singer L.R.Easwari, but is being made peppier. The lead pair of Thamaraibarani’, Vishal of ‘Thimuru’ fame and Malayli import Bhanu, will dance to the tune of choreographer Shobi for this song. The film is being filmed in a Rs. 25 lakh set in AVM studios. A different way of showing your devotion indeed!
